The episode "Money Laundering & a Cascade of Hormones" in "Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 6", featured a tribute to Ryan Davis who tragically died during the production of the show. Davis was part of the sound department that was involved in numerous notable television and film projects, was a highly respected individual. On "Young Sheldon" he was a mix engineer who re-recorded 50 episodes. In each episode, he skillfully blended all audio components seamlessly together. Davis modified each audio component in order to add an emotional layer. He helped reveal Sheldon and Amy's future son's Name in season 4 of "Young Sheldon." Davis was able to contribute his talents in the prequel episode. Davis infused "Young Sheldon" with nostalgic music as well as funny dialogue from Seasons 2 to 5. Davis also included urban background music as well as football games and a humorous urban landscape. This made the show become more realistic. Davis has more freedom with this spin-off since it lacks the laugh track. The day Davis passed away, there was initial doubt as to his name and part in the show.
